Anatolia is a design inspired by hand woven, wool & silk Persian carpets. The design was originally hand painted with distressed textures running throughout all areas of the design to simulate an aged, antique look. it is hand screen printed onto 100% linen, which has been woven with a soft subtle slub, the unique yarn running through the weft, adds to the hand crafted look of the fabric. After printing, the fabric is washed & finished to give a wonderful drape.this works for light upholstery too. The design boasts a central medallion motif, one of the main characteristics of the Persian Heriz & Serapi rugs, woven with the Turkish knot technique.
